Guild Wars 2 - Necromancer WIP by CailinMarieCosplay Guild Wars 2 - Necromancer WIP by CailinMarieCosplay
Here is the necromancer armor at 90% done! I still need to make skulls, teeth, bags, and scrolls, but this has been extremely successful so far! We just have to rip the tights, slap on some boots--poof, done!

Model is Niqoole
Costume made by me

For ALL the progress pics of this costume, check out my FB page: [link]

Let me assure you, there are MANY!

If you have questions feel free to comment or message me! I'd be more than happy to help you.

What photos did you want to edit? The mesmer ones are copyright to WeNeals Photography, so I'm afraid you can't edit those ones.

I love how guild wars 2 outfits are easier to make than most mmo's, you know with the complicated metal armor and all x.x plus they look better :))

I have to strongly disagree with you...

Just because the outfit is cloth doesn't mean it isn't complicated. The mesmer outfit I created used fourteen steel bones to make a fully lined corset with fourteen eyelets and four layers of fabric--two layers of muslin, a lining and a brocade...all with fourteen panels. Fourteen times four, that's fifty six panels going into a single corset. Thirty yards of ruffles went into the skirt and the hood and sleeves were hand-painted from multiple screenshot references. Just because it's not made out of Worbla doesn't mean it was easy.

The necromancer armor was, structurally, less complicated than the mesmer...but far more complex in terms of detailing.

I do agree, though, that Guild Wars 2 has far superior armor designs than most MMORPGs I've played.
